Decree No. 38/2018/ND-CP investments in small and medium -sized startup companies.

This Decree provides guidelines for investments in small and medium-sized startup companies, the establishment, management and operation of venture capital funds, and use of local government budgets to make investments in startups.
When making investments in startups, the enterprises must apply for registration of additional business sectors regarding venture capital in accordance with the law on company registration. Based on the reality of local government budget, each Provincial People’s Committee shall request the People’s Council of the same level to consider designating the local financial agency to make investments in startups.
