Decree No. 41/2001/ND-CP promulgating the regulation on the coordination of the State management over activities of the Coast Guard Force and the coordination of activities of various forces on the sea areas and the Continental Shelf of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Decree provides for coordination of both Coast Guard Force and other forces by appointed Ministries, activities involving patrolling marine waters, preventing sea accidents, protecting aquatic resources and marine environment from pollution, cooperate internationally in planning the protection of aforesaid resources also from oil and gas pollution.
