Abstract
This Decree guides the provisions of the Law on Atomic Energy regarding the investment in and selection of locations, the designing, building, installation, operation and termination of operation of nuclear plants and provides for the safety and security of these activities.
In particular, the Decree provides for: tasks and powers of state management agencies in charge of nuclear power plants; safety analysis reports to be made upon investment in, building and operation of nuclear power plants; plans on the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuels; preparation of environmental impact assessment reports; plans on dismantlement of nuclear power plants; etc.
