Decree No. 77/2011/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 29/2009/ND-CP of 26 March 2009, on seagoing ship registration, purchase and sale.

This Decree amends and supplements various articles of Government’s Decree No. 29/2009/ND-CP.
The Decree provides for: the insertion of a new definition in article 3; the amendment of article 11 on Vietnamese ship registration and the insertion of new articles 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, 11e, 11f, 11g, and 11h on registration procedures; the amendment of article 12 on procedures for provisional registration of ships sailing under Vietnamese flag and insertion of a new article 12a on procedures for granting permits to provisionally sail under the Vietnamese flag; the amendment of article 13 on procedures for registration of Vietnamese ships under construction; the amendment of article 14 on Vietnamese small ship registration procedures; the amendment of article 15 on Vietnamese ship deregistration procedures; and amendments to 9 Appendices of the Decree and for the cancellation of 12 Appendices.
