Decree No. 80/2014/ND-CP on water drainage and wastewater treatment.

This Decree, consisting of 49 articles divided into seven Chapters, provides for water drainage and wastewater treatment activities in urban areas, industrial parks, economic zones, export-processing zones and hi-tech parks (industrial parks), and concentrated rural residential areas; and rights and obligations of organizations, individuals and households engaged in water drainage and wastewater treatment in the Vietnamese territory. 2. This Decree applies to domestic organizations, individuals and households; and foreign organizations and individuals engaged in water drainage and wastewater treatment in the Vietnamese territory.
The Decree sets out provisions on waste water standards and provides for the formulation, contents of water drainage planning. The Decree further provides for the following matters: Investment in Development of Water Drainage Systems; Management and Operation of Water Drainage Systems; Connection of Water Drainage System; Water Drainage Charges Rates; State Management Responsibilities for Water Drainage and Wastewater Treatment; Implementation Provisions.
