Directive No. 23/2005/CT-TTg on enhancing the management of solid wastes in urban centres and industrial parks.

This Directive provides for raising the State management efficiency and the quality of solid waste gathering transportation and treatment services, improving the living environment, meeting the higher and higher social demands, creating a firm foundation for the successful implementation of the strategy for management of solid wastes in Vietnam's urban centres and industrial parks. Specific tasks of the ministries are described in section 2. The Ministry of Construction shall have to inspect, urge, monitor and periodically report to the Prime Minster on the implementation of this Directive.
