Abstract
This National Strategy on Gender Equality for 2021–2030 aims to narrow gender gaps and ensure equal opportunities for men and women in all aspects of social life, contributing to sustainable development. Building on the previous 2011–2020 strategy, it sets overarching goals to promote women’s participation in leadership, economic empowerment, education, healthcare, and protection against gender-based violence. Key targets include increasing female representation in state management positions to 75% by 2030, raising women’s share in paid employment to 60%, and reducing unpaid domestic work disparities.
To achieve these objectives, the strategy outlines major solutions such as strengthening leadership accountability, improving legal frameworks, integrating gender equality into policies, and enhancing public awareness through education and media. It also emphasizes capacity building for government agencies, international cooperation, and adequate funding from state budgets and other sources. Implementation responsibilities are assigned to ministries, local authorities, and social organizations to ensure coordinated and effective execution.
