Trade Promotion Agreement between the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Royal Government of Cambodia.

This Agreement is issued to further promote trade relations between the two countries, especially trade in agricultural, aquatic and industrial products with the goal of improving people's lives and contributing to sustainable economic development of Cambodia and Vietnam. The two Contracting Parties agree that all goods originating from the Kingdom of Cambodia, listed in Appendix 1 of this Agreement, when imported into the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, are entitled to preferential import tax rates. Particularly, the quantity entitled to a special preferential import tax rate of 0% for rice and dried tobacco leaves is specified in Articles 3 and 4. All goods originating from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, listed in Appendix II of this Agreement, when imported into the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia, are entitled to preferential import tax rates.
