The Amendment introduces additional definitions in Section 2, including “prime agricultural land” and the “Vanuatu Agricultural Research and Technical Centre.” It outlines the establishment of the Agriculture Advisory Committee, detailing its composition, functions, powers, and procedures for meetings. Part 3 addresses the agriculture business permit and agriculture export permit, covering the application process, granting of permits, conditions, and cancellations. The Amendment also establishes the Commercial Agriculture Development Fund to strengthen agricultural policy research and support the financing of agriculture development programs.
