Abstract
This Act grants power to the Minister responsible for agriculture and livestock to regulate the slaughter, spaying or castration of any class of cattle. Such activities may either be prohibited or restricted, except if a license is obtained from the Minister or a person duly authorized by him or her. The reasons for the granting of a licence vary from protection to animal health, pure breeding to shortage of water or feed.
