Conservation and Measurement Measure for Deep-Bottom Fish Fishery Order 2012 (No. 87 of 2012).

This Order places a ban on deep-bottom longline fishing methods: A person must not: (a) use a deep-line bottom longline fishing gear and method for deep-bottom fishing; or (b) have in his or her possession or sell or offer for sale a deep-bottom longline fishing gear; (c) use a deep-bottom dropline fishing gear with more than 10 hooks attached to it for deep-bottom fishing; or (d) have in his or her possession or sell or offer for sale a deep-bottom dropline fishing gear with more than 10 hooks attached to it. Penalties are prescribed.
