Environmental Protection and Conservation (Amendment) Act 2019 / Act No. 6 of 2019

This Act amends the Environmental Protection and Conservation Act [CAP 283] as set out in the Schedule. The amendment include the deleting and substituting of various environmental terms; amendment of a project by a proponent in regards to an Environment Impact Assessment application before a final decision is made; withdrawing of the environmental permit for the EIA; Granting of an environmental permit; expiry of an environmental permit; repealing and inserting certain numbering of the Act; application to amend environmental permit via a prescribed form as approved by the Director with the prescribed fees and other accompanied environmental permit process and procedures; and the adding of a new Division 5 with the heading miscellaneous.
