Abstract
This Act proposes a series of measures that may be taken to prevent the outbreak of bovine tuberculosis affecting cattle or to reduce spreading of such diseases.
The Act provides for restriction on dealings in livestock in infected region, powers of inspectors to have access to stock-farms for inspection and the destruction of infected cattle. Compensation shall be paid for seizure and destruction of animals. The Veterinary Inspector, the Meat Inspector and the members of the police force shall be responsible for the enforcement of this Act.
