Forestry (Amendment) Act 1993 (No. 15 of 1994).

Section 21 of the Forestry Act is amended by repealing paragraphs (c) and (d). Section 21 empowers the Minister to prohibit land clearing operations for various reasons if the Government considers the land should not be subject to utilisation or clearing operations. Two reasons previously listed are now cancelled, i.e. if land is to be used for recreational purposes or conservation of land for cultural, scenic, historic or national interest.
