Vanuatu Primary Producers Authority Act No. 18 of 2018.

This Act lays down rules for the establishment, membership, functions and powers of the Vanuatu Primary Producers Authority and its Board; the establishment, composition and functions of the Vanuatu Primary Producers National and Provincial Forum and the provincial primary product groups and area primary product group; registration of primary product groups by area with the Authority; the collaboration of Vanuatu primary producers on matters critical to the development and advancement of Vanuatu s primary production sector; the funding of the Authority and its activities; and offences and penalties. Vanuatu Primary Producers Authority shall strengthen the cooperation between the Government, aid agencies and primary producers on opportunities for the development of the sector, relating to animal, plant and soil health; biosecurity; research and development; technology transfer; capacity building; financial agricultural measures; market development and market access; and promotion of primary product.
