Abstract
This Act regulates various matters relative to supply of water by the Government to any person or group of persons being the owner or occupier of any immovable property who apply for supply of water to the Director of Public Works. Matters regulated are application for supply, connection, measurement of water supplied, payment of water charges, disconnection, maintenance of equipment, etc. The Minister may by Order make regulations for: (a) charges payable by consumers; (b) charges payable for the supply of water to ships berthing in the ports of Port Vila and Luganville; (c) the payment of deposits by consumers; (d) the general conditions under which water is supplied.
