Republican Resolution on Law No. 11 of 1993 on the environmental protection against pollution.

This Law is composed of 7 Sections divided into 47 articles. Section I deals with terms and definitions. Sea pollution is dealt with in Section II. Registration, information and insurance conditions for tankers are contained in Section III. Management and implementation are provided for in Section IV in particular: competencies of pollution control officers; and competencies and duties of the General Commission for Marine Affairs. Civil liability for costs and damages is dealt with in Section V. Offences and penalties are contained in Section VI. General provisions are given in Section VII.
