Abstract
This Resolution is composed of 5 Chapters divided into 26 articles: Terms and definitions (I); Establishment of the Authority, objectives and competences (II); Management of the Authority’s activities (III); Financial system and financial resources of the Authority (IV); General provisions (V).
The Authority shall have its headquarters in Sana’a and shall have the following competences: support the Yemeni economy; support and encourage the local producers; guarantee the protection of the environment and the inhabitants; uniform terms, expressions, definitions, technical marks and symbols; issue uniform certificates to YSM; adopt and approve analysis results; lay down studies and research related to SM; education and capacity building in YSM field; and reinforce and develop the collaboration with regional and international organizations in SM (arts. 3-9).
