Agreement between the Government of the Republic of South Africa and the Government of the Republic of Uganda on Co-operation in the Fields of the Environmental and Water Resources, 2012.

Uganda and South Africa, recognizing the importance of cooperative effort to promote environmental protection and sustainable development of water resources, agree to cooperate in specified areas and to carry out specified measures such as environmentally sound technologies, wetland management, technical support towards environmental and water legislation, policies and planning programmes, research on biodiversity, etc. Each Competent Authority shall appoint a coordinator to assist with the implementation of this Agreement. For each country a competent Authority responsible for the implementation of this Agreement.
