Competition Act: Regulations: Coronavirus COVID-19 excessing pricing complaint referrals (G.N. No. R. 448 of 2020).

These Regulations, made under Competition Act, provide in relation with complaint referrals for an alleged contravention of section 8(1)(a) of the Act read with Regulation 4 of the Consumer Protection Regulations (abuse of dominant position - price increase). They provide for rules regulating complaint referrals for alleged contraventions of section 8(1)(a) of the Act read with regulation 4 of the Consumer Protection Regulations during the period of declaration of the National State of Disaster and lockdown period. such complainst shall be dealt with by the Competition Tribunal in accordance with these Regulations.
