Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act: Establishment of a Flood Relief Scheme for Flood Disaster Areas.

This Notice, made by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture under section 8 of the Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act, establishes a Flood Relief Scheme. The objects of the Scheme shall be to promote the repair of flood damage in flood disaster areas as defined by article 4 and the Table to this Notice. Subsidies may be paid to farm units in respect to flood damage repair in the defined area. Works must meet certain conditions set out in this Notice and obtain the consent of the executive officer. The Regulations set out the conditions at which subsidy shall be paid and reporting and other obligations of those who receive such subsidies.
