Establishment of Statutory Measure: registration of certain persons in respect of fresh citrus fruit intended for export (No. R. 1461 of 2016).

This Statutory Measure requires producers and exporters of fresh fruit to register with the Citrus Growers’ Association of South Africa. Registration is necessary to assist the Association in ensuring that the levy, imposed in accordance with the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act on citrus fruit intended for export, can be collected. This statutory measure shall apply to all producers and exporters of export citrus fruit.
