Establishment of statutory measure - Registrations in respect of manufacturers, importers and exporters of maize products and wheaten products (No. R. 885 of 2014).

This Statutory Measure, made under sections 13 and 18 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996, requires all manufacturers, importers and exporters of maize products and wheaten products to register with the South African Grain Information Services (SAGIS). Registration of the said persons is necessary to enable SAGIS to make available continuous, timely and accurate market information in respect of maize products and wheaten products to the public.
