Abstract
This Measure, made by the Minister of Agriculture under sections 13 and 18 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996, requires specified cow, goat or sheep milk producers and processors and buyers and sellers of raw milk to supply specific data to the Milk Producers’ Organisation. This is necessary to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate information relating to the dairy industry is available to all role players of the dairy sector and government institutions. One of the purposes of this Measure is to have more readily available and accurate information for the prevention of animal diseases.
