Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of statutory measure and determination of guideline prices: Levy on cattle, sheep, goats, meat products, processed pork, hides and skins (No. R. 1050 of 2010).

This Statutory Measure imposes a levy under the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996 to apply to (meat, hides and skins of) cattle, sheep and goats, included imported meat and animals. The funds created by the levy shall be used for specific purposes of the further development of the red-meat industry of South Africa. The actual beneficiaries of the levy will be determined by the Red Meat Industry Forum.
