Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of Statutory Measures: Records and returns by abattoirs and exporters of live pigs (No. R. 1020 of 2010).

This Statutory Measure requires the rendering of records and returns by abattoirs and exporters of live pigs on their activities to the South African Pork Producers' Organisation ("levy administrator") so as to obtain viable market information relating to pigs slaughtered and marketed or live pigs exported. The Statutory measure shall apply to abattoirs where pigs are slaughtered for commercial use and to exporters of live pigs.
