Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of statutory measure: Registration of certification bodies, exporters, fresh produce markets, agents, packaging material importers/manufacturers, potato producers, pre-packers, processors and traders (No. R. 473 of 2015).

This Statutory Measure applies to potatoes and requires certification bodies, exporters, fresh produce markets, importers, market agents, packaging material importers, packaging material manufacturers, potato producers, pre -packers, processors and traders to register with Potatoes South Africa ("Administrator"). "Potato producer" a person who produces potatoes for export, for sale as seed potatoes, or for domestic consumption as table potatoes or potato products.
