Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of Statutory Measure: Registration of exporters, fresh produce markets, importers, market agents, potato producers, processors and traders (No. R. 636 of 2011).

This Statutory Measure requires exporters, fresh produce markets, importers, market agents, potato producers, processors and traders to register with Potatoes South Africa. This is necessary to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate market information relating to the potato industry is made available to all role players in the industry. The Potato Industry Trust appoints Potatoes South Africa as an Administrator to administer the Statutory Measure.
