Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of Statutory Measure: Records and returns by exporters, fresh produce markets, importers, market agents, potato producers, processors and traders (No. R. 637 of 2011).

This Statutory Measure requires exporters, fresh produce markets, importers, market agents, potato producers, processors and traders to keep records and furnish returns to Potatoes South Africa (“the Administrator”). This is necessary to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate market information relating to the potato industry is made available to all role players in the industry. The Potato Industry Development Trust appoints the Administrator to implement and administer this Statutory Measure.
