Merchant Shipping (Licensing of Vessels) Regulations (No. R 112 of 2003).

These Regulations, made under the Merchant Shipping Act, 1951, make provision for the licensing of vessels in terms of section 68 or 69 of the Act.
The Regulations prescribe the form of licence and conditions of licence and lay down some vessel marking requirements. The Regulations also provide for change in ownership and transfer of vessel in relation with the licensing of vessels and the licence number.
