National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act (39/2004): National Ambient Air Quality Standards (No. 1210 of 2009).

This Notice of the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs and made under section 9 of the National Environmental Management: Air Quality Act, 2004 establishes the national ambient air quality standard for Sulphur Dioxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Particulate Matter, Ozone, Benzene, Lead and Carbon Monoxide. It also concerns the method of assessment of ambient pollutant concentrations and reference methods of testing.
