Notice to register a Water Use in terms of the National Water Act (Notice No. 519 of 2009).

This Notice of the Minister of Water Affairs and Forestry specifies all water uses that must be registered for purposes of the Water Use Registration Regulations. It also specifies water uses that are excluded from registering in terms of this Notice. A person who uses water as contemplated in section 21 of the National Water Act, 1998 must, when called upon by the responsible authority to do so, register the water use.
