Abstract
This Act amends the Performing Animals Protection Act, 1935 so as to insert new sections 3A to 3P. Those sections concern designation, qualification and functions of National Licensing Officers, appointment of experts, delegation of powers and functions by National Licensing Officers, application for licences, consideration and granting of applications for licences by a National Licensing Officer, duration of licence, appeal against decisions of National Licensing Officers, appeal, composition and membership of the Appeals Board, offences.
