Abstract
This Proclamation designates the Cape Floral Region Protected Areas as World Heritage Site.
In addition, the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism delegates, by virtue of the powers vested in him or her in terms of section 43(1) of the World Heritage Convention Act, 1999, to the Director-General of the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism the exercise of powers and duties referred to in section 13(2) of the Act in connection with the Cape Floral Region Protected Areas World Heritage Site.
