Abstract
This By-law of City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality prohibits hunting wild animals and birds in the city area without the permission in writing of the Council and subject to such conditions as the Council may impose. "Wild animal" means any animal other than a domestic or domesticated animal, rat and mouse. The By-law places restrictions on the use of arms for hunting and prescribes penalties for offences.
