Regulation relating to the prohibition of the sale, acquisition, disposal or use of the agricultural remedy - Monocrotophos (R. No. 154 of 2005).

These Regulations of the Minister of Agriculture, acting under section 7 bis (a) and 23(3) of the Fertilizers, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act, 1947, prohibit the sale, acquisition, disposal or use of Monocrotophos containing remedies approved by the Registrar as defined in the Act. The Regulations also prescribe penalties for non-compliance with this rule.
