Regulations made under section 18 of the Animal Improvement Act (No. R. 1683 of 2003).

These Regulations implement provisions of the Animal Identification Act by laying down rules relative to, among other things: the application for and the registration of marks for the identification of single animals as well as groups of animals; the registration of marking operators; the procedures for the treatment of marked animals in pounds; the shape and place of marks; and the age in which animals must be marked.
