Abstract
These Regulations prescribe rules relative to composition, use, advertisement and labelling of food used for medical purposes, i.e. food used for special dietary purposes as defined in these Regulations. These Rules shall be additional to general rules for the labelling of foodstuffs made under the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972. These Rules require certain nutritional and other information to be written on labels attached to foodstuffs to which the Regulations apply.
