Abstract
These Regulations concern the development and management of the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park.
The objectives of these Regulations are, among other things: (a) to provide for the environmental and cultural protection and sustainable development of, and related activities in and around, the Park; (b) to give effect to the values of the World Heritage Convention in and around the Park; and (c) to ensure that effective and active measures are taken for the protection, conservation and presentation of the natural and cultural heritage of the Park. The Regulations also define powers of the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park Authority and provide for internal organization of the Authority, which shall governed by the Board. The Authority shall establish the Greater St. Lucia Wetlands Park Regulating Committee.
