Reserve determination no. 1559 of 2021 for water resources of the crocodile West and Marico catchments in terms of section 16(1) and (2)of the National Water Act, no. 36 of 1998.

The Minister of Water and Sanitation, in compliance with the Water Act and its related regulations, determines a reserve for all or part of every significant water resource within the catchement of the following river systems: Crocodile West and Marico, in the water management area of Limpopo. Some relevant terms are defined, including: baseflow, class of water resources, ecological categorisation of water resources, recharge, reserve.
