Statutory Measure relative to records and returns by milk producers (No. R. 1153 of 2003).

This Regulation, made by the Minister of Agriculture under sections 13 and 18 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996, requires all milk producers to supply specific data to the Milk Producers’ Organisation. This is necessary to ensure that continuous, up-to-date and accurate information relating to the livestock farming and production, is available to all interested parties in the dairy farming industry sector. One of the purposes of this Measure is to have more readily available and accurate information for the prevention of animal diseases.
