Wine industry: establishment of Statutory Measures and determination of guideline prices (No. R. 1075 of 2005).

These Regulations requires all bottlers, grape producers, grape juice producers, wine exporters, wine producers and wine traders to register with the South African Wine Industry Information and Systems (SAWIS) in accordance with the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996. The Regulations also impose a research levy, an information levy, a transformation levy and an export levy on the wine and grapes industry. Levies shall be collected and administered in accordance with these Regulations.
