Abstract
These Regulations shall apply in relation to fertilizers as defined in section two of the Agriculture (Fertilizers and Feed) Act. The 18 regulations are divided into 6 Parts: Preliminary (I); Registration of plant (II); Analysts and laboratories (III); Searches and seizures (IV); Sale of farming requisites (V); Sampling, analysis and limits of variation (VI).
Applications under Part II of the Act for registration, transfer of registration or renewal of registration of plant shall be made in Form in the First Schedule to these Regulations. The Registering Officer shall issue a certificate of registration. The Registering Officer shall keep a register of plant as prescribed in the First Schedule. Regulation 7 provides for approval of analysts for purposes of the Act, whereas regulation 8 provides for approval of laboratories. Other provisions concern principally labelling, marking of containers and analysis of fertilizer.
