Delegation of Powers to City and Municipal Councils Notice (Cap. 283).

This Notice delegates the functions of the Minister under subsections (1) and (2) of section 25 of the Town and Country Planning Act relating to the grant or refusal of permission to develop or subdivide land in respect of the areas set out in the First Schedule to the Act to the appropriate planning authorities set out in the said First Schedule. They also prescribe that any liability to pay compensation under the Act in respect of anything done by any of the aforementioned planning authorities in exercise of the functions delegated to it hereunder is hereby transferred to the appropriate planning authority.
