Forests (Timber Cutting, Conversion Processing and Conveyancing) (Prohibition) Regulations, 2003 (S.I. No. 102 of 2003).

These Regulations, made under section 68 of the Forests Act, prohibit the cutting, felling, converting, processing, conveying or removing timber in any form, from an indigenous forest within Zambia, except timber from pine, eucalyptus and any other exotic tree species; or (b) which is already in a factory or on a sawmilling site and is being manufactured into value added finished wood products. The Regulations also revoke all sawmilling and pitsawing licences issued under the Act and prescribe penalties.
