Abstract
These Regulations, consisting of 63 articles, are designed to safeguard human health from radiation-related risks. The key provisions include: (i) Radiation Protection Management, which mandates qualified personnel and a comprehensive radiation protection program; (ii) Safety and Security, establishing protocols for the safe handling, calibration, and transportation of radioactive materials; (iii) Medical Radiological Equipment, setting standards for the design, operation, and maintenance of such equipment; (iv) Occupational Radiation Protection, outlining regulations for controlled areas, worker safety, and dose limits; (v) Radiation Protection of Persons, providing guidelines to ensure patient safety during radiation therapy; (vi) Public Protection, implementing measures to shield the public from radiation exposure; and (vii) Emergency Plans, detailing procedures for mitigating accidents and managing lost or stuck radioactive materials.
