Water Supply and Sanitation (Amendment) Act, 2005 (No. 10 of 2005).

This Act amends the Water Supply and Sanitation Act in provision dealing with the licensing of utilities and service providers (adding a new paragraph prohibiting operating without a licence), appeal against a decision by the National Water Supply and Sanitation Council to issue a licence, the prohibition to transfer a licence without approval of the Council, appeal with the Minister against a decision of the Council to cancel a licence, offences against facilities, penalties for various offences, and the composition of the Council.
