Abstract
The text consists of 27 sections, divided into 7 Parts: Preliminary (I); Establishment of Zambia Agricultural Development Bank (II); Capital (III); Funds and Business of the Bank (IV); Loans and Securities (V); Accounts and Audit (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).
The Bank is established as a body corporate and is governed by a Board of Directors. The Bank shall provide loans or any other form of credit facilities to any person, company, statutory corporation, local authority, association, cooperative society, the Government or any other institution approved by the Board for any agricultural or fishing project (sect. 18). The Board may, with approval of the Minister, by Statutory Instrument, make regulations for the better implementation of the provisions of this Act.
