Zambia Development Agency (Amendment) Act, 2009 (No. 5 of 2009).

This Act amends the Zambia Development Agency Act, 2006 so as to provide with respect to "industrial parks" i.e. any area or premises in Zambia that has been declared by the Minister an industrial park under section 18 of the principal Act. Various consequential amendments are made. The Agency shall monitor and evaluate the activities, performance and development of enterprises operating in industrial parks and prescribe and enforce measures, for the business or activity carried out within an industrial park so as to promote the safety and efficiency of its operations. Section 18 also requires the Minister to provide, by Statutory Instrument, rules for operation of industrial parks.
