Zambia Development Agency (Amendment) Act, 2012 (No. 15 of 2012).

This Act amends the Zambia Development Agency Act, 2006 in section 17 in provisions which empower the Board to enter into investment protection and promotion agreements with investors. The agreement shall include an undertaking on environmental impact assessment. The Act also: repeals and replaces section 69, which deals with the determination by the Board on an application for a licence, a permit or certificate of registration under section 68 and regarding entitlement to an incentive under section 59 of the principal Act; and amends section 82, which empowers the Minister to amend the Second Schedule of the principal Act. That Schedule lists priority sectors of investment, also in the food manufacture sector.
